My Baby is Here

My Baby is Here!
baby
I cannot believe it.
My baby is ready! My book is finally done
This baby has been as much work as a real baby!

I have been constantly changing it, removing yucky stuff, feeding and feeding and feeding the flow of words, pampering it, holding it, laughing to myself, screaming, asking myself why I even started this, getting hopeful, going crazy again…
Well, you get the picture. Who knew writing a book could be that hard? Both excruciating and joyous.

But I loved the whole process.
It is finally done.
At the moment it is available for you to read on Jumia, Kaymu and dealdey.

  11. I was a victim of domestic violence. At the time I left the abusive home, I realized that there should be a book club geared for survivors to read and share about books that affect them — provide real aspects of domestic violence, invoke building self-confidence or self-esteem, and/or might have helped to get them through surviving and on to thriving. Im glad you have done this, Dumebi. Thank you.

  12. Domestic violence is so prevalent in our society. It crosses all barriers of age and gender and results in serious illness and even death. Awareness is key. Good cover, Ezar.
