Short Post on Gratitude

Many people’s lists of things to be thankful for have shrunk this year. The evidence of God’s faithfulness in our lives may be obscured by temporary setbacks or the illusion of defeat… but as Christians, we can be thankful for our blessings, not our circumstances.

True gratitude comes from recognizing the permanence of God’s character. Happiness is fragile and fleeting; joy results from the Spirit abiding within. The circumstances of the world will fade away when you tap into that joy–the mindset in which you are conscious of the blessings bestowed on you through Christ, from everlasting to everlasting.
Have a wonderful Christmas break!
